Just checked my tape, I have recorded complete Bay to Breakers 12K, part of Boston Marathon, and one hour triathlon race (looks like the Ironman Championship). I can record Chicago Marathon on this tape. I understand it. Same as US, actually endurance races have very little chance to be on TV compared with other sports such as NBA, NFL, MLB.

恐怕只有我們真正參加過比賽的人才會喜歡看電視轉播的路跑比賽, 我們知道要跑完一個馬拉松是多麼累, 要三分鐘跑一公里是多麼了不起, 要如何運用戰術跟人或超過人, 也會欣賞世界級選手優美的跑資, 其他人恐怕只喜歡看籃球棒球或其他比賽了
以前我們會裡有一個會員很喜歡錄影, 錄了不少比賽影片, 把它當成檔案保存起來

I'm asking this because here I can watch some big races on TV, such as Boston Marathon, Bay to Breakers (60000 runners on 12K hilly run in San Francisco, some naked), Chicago Marathon (I once watched Kahlid Khannouchi set record in 1999), New York City Marathon, Ironman Championship (the final race for all Ironman triathons), etc.

It's very exciting to watch the marathon race. I usually feel thrilled all the way, in particular, when top runners were sprinting for the last few miles. These are about the unbelievable and amazing 4:50 mile pace. It's like watching the movie Titanic, reading a great book such as Modern Physics, or, you may say, listening to Tchaikovsky Symphony No.6. It's a very touching moment to me, who love to run. Sometimes, this drove me into tears for the tough victory, after hours of struggle
you all know in running a marathon.

I used to tape a race and watched it later. I think you all are interested as I was. I'll review my tape because I might wipe it out after I replayed it. But, still, there are at least two coming races before I come back, Chicago Marathon and New York City Marathon. I'll tape them for you all to enjoy.

Also I would like to see if anyone can convert the them into VCD so that we can keep a clear copy. 現在的電視新聞, 唉......
剛剛吃飯看到電視新聞, 全是XXX要不要選高雄市長, OOO努力選台北市長, 還有CCC和台大醫科某女談戀愛, 不過這些比前一陣子又是哪個立委鬧緋聞的新聞可入耳一些, 路跑新聞上電視或報紙, 現在很少見
