Yes. I once read Runners and was amazed so many races in Japan and how Japanese were dedicated to running. Runners in Taiwan do not need to go far to experience the top class running. Japan is the place to go.

I don't understand Japanese, so hope someone can read those magazines and give us reports to better our knowledge.

"也有人數很少的賽會. 但是, 尚能維持一定的品質." Yes. It does not need many runners to be a good race. On the contrary, it would be easier to organize a better race but in smaller scale. Compared to those in other countries, races in Taiwan seem to be smaller. There are two magazines of talking about the running informatiom in Japan- CITY RUNNER and RUNNERS. 她們是月刊. 內容很豐富. 舉凡和跑步相關的飲食/ 名人/ 訓練 /風景名所/ 世界消息/ 新聞 /意見廣場 /賽會訊息 /書籍/ 商品/ 幫讀者報名或組隊參賽 /甚至於組隊遠赴海外參賽旅遊 等等, 幾乎" 全都錄".
據我自該兩本雜誌所統計的全馬賽會, (不含其他超馬或一般路跑賽) 一年就有九十場以上. 分部於全日本各縣. 鄰近台灣的沖繩縣, 人口約只有一百三十萬. 但是, 其境內的 NAHA MARATHON 參賽人數, 竟然可以高達兩萬人. 為比賽加油的民眾可達五十萬. 沿途志願, 自掏腰包提供飲水/食物的人, 更是不計其數. 當然, 也有人數很少的賽會. 但是, 尚能維持一定的品質.
我和內人多次參加以"台北跑者"的名稱所組成的參賽團,參賽了一些賽會. 多會獲得當地傳媒的注意而受到報導, 令人感覺興奮.
我只是一位 PLODDER. 純是以業餘的角度來談跑步. 請諸位高手建腳們包含和指教.
