所以, 我先前在 <跑步教室> 發表 "路跑比賽距離是如何測量?", 就是希望大家能去了解, 您所參加的比賽, 其成績是某否為國際所認可. 大家可以來思考一下, 國內比賽路線的規劃是否嚴謹? 英謙舉了一些 (不好的) 例子. 比賽若能為國際認可, 將是比賽品質的提昇, 同時也是對參賽著的一項鼓勵.

Yes. It depends on your age.

Here is the qualified times for Boston, http://www.bostonmarathon.org/BostonMarathon/Qualifying.asp. However, some runners ran without bib numbers maybe because they were not qualified.

NYC Marathon is even tougher. Basically, you need to 30 min faster than Boston. You can find the qualification in,

for I know some marathon race need qualified then you can register the race,like Boston marathon, and the standard are very high, it's true or not ?

No. Those US marathons are far away from where I live. I can not afford the expense. I think I'll run these races some day.

I have a couple of friends got qualified for Boston and ran it this year. Some other friends have run 紐約市馬拉松. A friend of mine ran 火奴奴魯馬拉松. They all said they got a lot of crowd support. It's like 夾道歡迎. I could verify this because I could watch those US marathons on TV. I think being a runner is a great thing in these races.

Maybe next year, I'll run 芝加哥馬拉松 or 波士頓馬拉松.

Yes, Japan has many races, too. Chicago Marathon has the most runners - 35000+ because it's a fast course. This attracts many world class runners. Both Khalid Khannouchi (2:05:48) and Catherine Ndereba (2:18:47) have set marathon world records for men and women over there

I found that

1. Four are in USA, and all the others in Europe. None in Asia,
Australia, or any other places in the world. Perhas it's biased by the
magazine, but let's think about how they are considered top races.

2. 荷蘭, which is about the same size and populated as Taiwan, does not
only build submarines but also has two world class marathons.

3. From now on till the end of the year is the marathon season. Half of
the above races are coming up in th next three months.

4. To be the top race like 阿姆斯特丹馬拉松, it doesn't need tens of
thousands runners. 2200 runners are good enough. The keys are the
charming city, very fast course, and strong support from the city.

5. Some are capable to run over 10 marathons in a year. Have a plan to run
