11/28/2004泰國曼谷國際馬拉松賽是一個國際路跑馬拉松協會(AIMS)所核可承認的正式賽會.台北跑者已經將它排入今年的海外參賽行程之中. 但是, 截至目前, 仍然未見其網站的相關資訊. 台北跑者即日將會去函詢問該賽會的詳細資料, 再與予公告, 讓想要參賽的跑友有所因循來做計畫. 在未獲該賽回覆之前, 台北跑者事先已經規劃參與該賽會的行程. 茲以公告如下:
11/26(週五)早上啟程飛往泰國曼谷, 下午作市區巡禮觀光. 11/27(週六)早上市區觀光, 下午則是前往賽會領取比賽資料, 並且巡視跑馬路線.. 11/28(週日)清晨參加曼谷國際馬拉松賽, 下午作休閒活動或是另排觀光行程. 11/29(週一)上午整理行李並作短暫的觀光再前往機場搭機返回台灣溫暖的家. 總計4天3夜的行程, 費用應該和去年新加坡馬拉松參旅團的團費相當, 多或是少的幅度, 應該不會太大. 詳情要等待旅行社的實際報價為準. 有意參加的跑友可以在此欄先行登記. 這是因應泰國曼谷馬拉松賽的資訊尚未公開的權宜之計. 待該網站的資訊公開後, 台北跑者可以根據實情, 而予適度的變動或是調整參賽計畫. 以上, Run happy. ------------- Dale Huang |

曼谷馬拉松有賽會網站，可以網上報名，用信用卡付費，當然也有網站參賽配套和訂酒店，報名費是三十五美元，不過一旦付了費，不可退還，所以要去者，需考慮清楚。還有，我找不到它的截止報名日期。 全程馬拉松是在泰國時間早上三點三十分開跑，每名跑者會分配晶片計時間。 以下是該賽會的網站： http://www.thailandmarathon.org/bangkokmarathon.html 曼谷馬拉松的電郵聯絡： raceinfo@thailandmarathon.org ------------- |

非常感謝永忠兄的協助. 使得踏破鐵鞋, 百尋不著的曼谷馬拉松賽的資訊, 頓然明朗, 詳細. 真是台北跑者之福. 再次感謝!
茲將2004年泰國曼谷馬拉松賽的比賽簡章, 簡述如下: 一, 比賽日期和時間: 2004年11月28日 上午3:30開賽. 二, 路程: 起終點設在皇宮附近. 跑在泰國首都曼谷市區的街道. 途經泰皇宮和多處的古蹟, 寺廟, 博物館, 有名的地標建物,.... 可以體會和飽覽曼谷的宗教信仰和市區風光. 三, 報名費: 全程馬拉松賽-美金35元. 包含: 比賽用的號碼布, 紀念衫, 完走紀念獎牌. 四, 比賽時限和報名截止日期:需待進一步詢問. 有意參加此賽會的跑友, 可以在此欄登記. 因為台灣和曼谷的交通甚為方便, 而且泰國強力促銷其觀光產業. 費用是很平民化的. 行程大致上和第一篇資訊相同. 待與旅行社討論規劃好行程和費用後, 再予公佈. 以上, 歡迎眾家跑友來參與. 不用客氣，小弟工作之方便，一直在報館上網，所以得空就上網看跑步的新聞和報導，相信以前輩跑過芭堤雅馬拉松的經驗，曼谷馬拉松可要好好準備，天氣可能會炎熱，但相信以台北跑者的團隊精神和經驗，一定可以創出好成績！ 加油！ ------------- |

台灣的高溫加濕度，對跑者的考驗其實並不亞於東南亞國家，曼谷馬拉松於3:30起跑是體貼跑者的方式，對大會而言是愈早愈辛苦，這一點我要讚美大會的用心。
台灣的馬拉松若於冬天辦六時以後起跑是可以接受，但其餘時間之馬拉松賽則起跑太晚了，尤其遇上大太陽的日子，真是苦了選手。例如四月辦的金石馬拉松賽，六時起跑時太陽已出來湊熱鬧，結果跑掛一票人。個人建議台北縣政府明年舉辦時能否提早於四時起跑。 ------------- |

好意心領了，明年到檳城參賽的機會可能性不大！ 今年曼谷馬拉松與那霸馬拉松差一星期，已選擇那霸馬拉松，就不敢妄想曼谷馬拉松。不報名却來此哈啦，有點扯了，歹勢快離好了。 ------------- |

我附上去年的曼谷全馬資料，可作參考！相信規則不會差很遠！勞你簡報給台北跑者朋友。完走証書根據去年是六小時，今年應該不會變吧！ The 16th Bangkok International Marathon (November 23, 2003 at Sanam Chai Road, Bangkok) The 16th International Marathon 2003 will continue spinning itself out on November 23, 2003 after the event was overwhelmingly participated by both local and international committed joggers and marathoners last year. The previous race endorsed the record increase in the overall contestants of approximately 20,000. From the record of the last year event, the number of the marathon contestants increased 30% from the previous race in 2001, among which were more local runners. This reflected that more Thai amateur marathoners are more aware of self-development to be internationally athletic-competent. The organizers--the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the National Jogging Association of Thailand--aim to render the event into one of the mega international marathons recognized worldwide. Contestants of this race will simultaneously vie for the honorable championship and enjoy a wide range of historical landmarks, cultural sites and ethnic communities along the loop course. The race is officially sanctioned by the Association of International Marathons and Road Races (AIMS) and the Amateur Athletic Association of Thailand (IAAF). The race is divided into four categories: Wheelchair Marathon (42.195km), Marathon (42.195km), 10.5km Mini-Marathon and 5km Walk & Fun Run. The Wheelchair Marathon is open for all the general public. The Marathon will be divided into sex and age groups: Male : 18-29 years of age 30-34 years of age 35-39 years of age 40-44 years of age 45-49 years of age 50-54 years of age 55-59 years of age 60 years of age & above Female: 18-29 years of age 30-34 years of age 35-39 years of age 40-44 years of age 45-49 years of age 50 years of age & above On the race day, both wheelchair contestants and marathoners are scheduled to check in at 3 am at the starting point on Sanam Chai Road, on the east of the Royal Palace. Wheelchair runners will get on mark at 3.20am while the marathoners at 3.30am. The first 5 winners of each marathon category (wheelchair, male and female marathon contestants) will be awarded with King’s Cups and the cash prizes of BHT12,000, BHT8,000, BHT5,000, BHT3,000 and BHT2,000, respectively. The first male and female contestants who break the record will receive extra cash prizes of BHT50,000. The record of the male marathoner is 02.18.57 by Michael Mukoma, Kenyan, in 1998. The record of the female marathoner is 02.46.40 by Violetta Uryka, Poland, in 1999. The 10.5km Mini-Marathon is divided into two categories: Male: 19 years of age & below 20-39 years of age 40 years of age & above Female: 19 years of age & below 20-34 years of age 35 years of age & above The 5km Walk & Fun Run is open for all general public. On the race day, contestants of these two categories are to check in at 5am onwards. The 10.5km Mini-Marathon will get set at 6am while the 5km Walk & Fun Run at 6.30am at the beginning of Kanlayanamit Road, besides the Defense Ministry. The first 5 winners of the mini-marathon and the walk & run will receive the trophies honoring their finishing position. Only the first 5 winners of the youth age groups (19 years old & below) will be awarded of the cash prizes of BHT3,000, BHT2,000, BHT1,500, BHT1,200 and BHT1,000, respectively. For the marathon categories, only runners who can complete the actual course (42.195km) within 6 hours will receive a finisher medal and certificate, which will be mailed later. The 10.5km and the 5km runners who complete the overall designated course within 1.30 hours and an hour, respectively, will be given a finisher medal. The race entry procedure: 1. Contact in person at the Race Headquarter or fax/ email them the fully completed entry form. Wait to receive email or fax or mail of a confirmation card and the proper ID for registration. 5. Three days before the marathon takes place, that is, November 20-22, 2003, will host the Marathon Expo where all registrants must show the confirmation card and the proper ID to receive their individual race bib number, T-shirt and goodies bags. The venue of the expo is at the Old Siam Plaza, Phahurat Rd., from 10am to 7pm. NB. There will be no registration on the race day. Every contestant must claim the bib number, T-shirt and goodies bag at least a day prior to the race day. 再次感謝永忠兄提供的2003年曼谷馬拉松賽的簡章.
根據去年(2003)的簡章資料: 2002年的賽會, 包含全馬, 10.5公里, 5公里等項目, 參賽人數約有20.000人. 光是全馬參賽者就比2001年成長30%. 全馬比賽於清晨3時檢錄, 3時半開跑. 跑者只要在6小時內完走, 即可獲贈完走紀念獎牌, 完走證書稍後郵寄. 跑者須於比賽前三日內憑證在馬拉松賽展售會領取比賽資料. 比賽當日不接受臨時報名, 也不發放比賽資料. 報名費用分三段時間收取不同金額. 依序為: 11/10前, 美金30元. 11/11-19前, 美金35元. 11/20-22, 美金35元. 直到比賽前一日, 尚可於馬拉松賽展售會場報名, 只是費用比較高. 由此觀之, 今年的報名費用比起去年, 調高5美元.
