可惜樹哥只當100K來跑，前面虎虎生風，過了100K後，可能是生理時鐘發酵，一路睡到天亮，才繼續! 恭喜完成!還是我心目中的大哥!

學費繳的不夠，練習量也不足，敗下陣來不足為奇。
有負大家的厚愛，內心有點心虛。
沒有再戰的計劃，就此留下走過紀錄。
 
謝謝那天在場加油的好友們，恕我無禮不一一致謝。
賽中睡太多，所以完賽後除有點頭疼外，也沒有出現不良症狀，星期日應可跑富邦馬，阿Q的想法~~也許這是偷懶跑法的好處。Dead

Of course, you can share my post with you friends in Taiwan.
Those who ran the race probably recognize my name and who I am.

This year is the 9th annual for Soochow International Ultramarathon,
and Japan team has attended  every year since 2001 (8 times), except 2006 in which the race was not held due to having World Champs in Yen-shian Park in Taipei. We represented in 2006 as well, so this is the 9th time for our team to take part in ultra races in Taipei, in fact.

24hr Race in Taipei, Taiwan (Mami Kudo's WR)

I came back Monday afternoon from Taipei where
Soochow International 24H Ultramarathon was held in
this past weekend at Soochow University. I am one of
the executive directors of the whole event (including
12/24H, student 1h, student half marathon relay) as
well as the manager/coach of the Team Japan particularly
for the race.

YES. Mami Kudo (age 45) covered 158.098 miles which
overwrote the former world record of 155.415 miles set
by Edit Berces of Hungary at an Italian track 24H race in
2002. Mami was running at steady pace of about 8 minute/mile
pace untile 50 mile or so, and slowing down gradually, but
almost never fell down to 10.5 minutes/mile with only
two pee breaks of 2 minutes each during the 24H,
otherwise she kept going.
Total average speed was 9.1 minute/mile.

I frequently train together with Mami, and we were
discussing before the race that our target should be a
little over 150 miles which was still Asian record, but her
hidden ability seemed to be far beyond our estimation.
NO WORDS about that !

The record is still unofficial, and is waiting for the result
of the doping control to apply for the record committee
of IAU. I hope that this record becomes official soon.

She also broke some world records for intermediate
distances/fixed time on the way to the end.

*Track overall WR
-100 miles: 14:14:24 (formerly 14:25:45 by Edit Berces,
2002: cf. 13:47:41 by Ann Trason in NY, 1991 on ROAD)
-200km: 18:16:38 (formerly 18:31:43 by Edit Berces, 2002;
regardless track/road/indoor)

*Track age group WR (45-49)
-12 hours: 137.170 km (85.237 miles) (formerly 127.555km
by Irina Reutovitch, 1999: cf. overall WR = 147.6 km-91.719 miles
by Ann Trason in Hayward, 1999)

Mami Kudo became double WR holder for 24H/48H (regardless
track/road/indoor) within 7 months. She also ran 2:52 marathon
at Yokohama four weeks before this 24H.

We invited Roy Pirrung, President of AUA and a good friend
of us, as one of the world-class 60+ runners, but maybe due
to 70+F with high humidity which was not comfortable for him
just coming from Wisconsin where temperature may drop to
20F in December, he left the track earlier in the race. Another
60+ runner, Motohisa Tadokoro from Japan covered 219.359km
(136.31 miles). The current 24H WR of male 60-64 age group
is 235.969 km/146.631 miles.

Kimie Noto of Japan (two-time Spartathlon champion) also
renewed the 12H track record of female 55-59 age group with
114.000 km (70.840 miles).

2009 東吳 24h 明星, 工藤真實 Mami Kuda, 的潛在能力, 似乎超乎井上明博士的估計. 說不定還會再破記錄 !

是的, 45歲的工藤真實跑出了以158.098英里 ( 636圈相當於254.425公里),超越舊紀錄155.415哩(2002年由匈牙利選手
 Edit Berces 在義大利24H賽創下). 在前五十英哩,工藤的速度保持在每英里8 分鐘(按: 事實上工藤前七小時跑了83.2K 只差關家兩圈800m 這是兩個馬拉松的距離!!), 然後逐漸慢下來,但是沒有掉到每英里10.5分鐘以下(時速9.1公里 每圈2'37")最終總平均是每英里9.1分鐘(按: 也就是時速10.6公里). 這中間工藤上了兩次廁所花掉四分鐘.
 
(按: 工藤前10小時跑了116.4K, 前12小時跑了137.6K,"時鐘"關家則是前12小時為144.4K 到第十四小時每圈都在兩分鐘上下 到第十五小時才慢下來為167.6K到178K)


I frequently train together with Mami, and we were
discussing before the race that our target should be a
little over 150 miles which was still Asian record, but her
hidden ability seemed to be far beyond our estimation.

這次我們邀請了美國超馬協會( American Ultrarunning Association ) 的理事長(總裁)Roy Pirrung,他是我們的好朋友也是超過六十歲的超馬好手,不過或許是因為剛從已經在華氏20度以下的威斯康辛州來到超過華氏70度(攝氏20度)又高溼度的關係, 他提早退場了 (按: 當天下雨溫度大約為攝氏21度) 另外一位超過六十歲的跑者是田處壱(音同一)久 (Motohisa Tadokoro) 的成績為219.359公里 , 目前60-64歲組的世界紀錄是 235.969 km/146.631 miles.

日本隊的 能渡貴美枝 (兩度斯巴達賽的冠軍)也刷新了12小時賽 女子組55-59 歳的紀錄 114公里!!
